I must say I was dreading this part. Didn’t sleep the night before it was started.
However this time I struck gold with the company we used! @thelimecretecompany
This is not an ad. This was all paid for but I believe in praise where praise is due & I could not have been happier with their work!
They turned up with their crew and huge lorries and were all smiles.
Nothing was too much trouble ( after driving 5 hours to be with us 😳).
It was the easiest part of the restoration so far.
Everything was mixed in the lorries so we had the same ‘mix’ each time. The team barrowed it in & laid it in record time.
I’ve tried to show here how after each barrow was tipped inside it was pushed into position & smoothed off by hand. Laser levels were used everywhere to get our levels right.
Not an easy task with our different levels and some badly sloping floors 😳
